Sunlit Greenhouse Citrus Garden1.3.png

Learn. Grow. Share. Harvest.

Dedicated to the science, conservation, and cultivation of citrus worldwide.

One tree on a balcony. A greenhouse full of varieties. Your first seedling—or years of growing experience.

Whatever your starting point, welcome to Citrus.Expert.

This community brings together people who enjoy growing citrus, asking questions and discovering what works in real conditions. You do not need an impressive collection or expert knowledge to join the conversation. Curiosity is a good place to start.

Every growing experience has something to teach

Growing citrus rarely follows a perfect recipe. A thriving lemon tree in one garden may struggle in another. Climate, light, rootstock, soil and watering all shape the result.

Here, we share the context as well as the outcome: what we tried, what changed and what happened next.

Successful harvests belong here. So do stubborn plants, failed grafts and the question you have been hesitating to ask.

Find your place

LEARN · Build your knowledge
Explore citrus care, varieties and the principles behind healthy growth.

GROW · Put knowledge into practice
Discuss watering, feeding, repotting, pruning and seasonal care—from windowsills to outdoor collections.

PLANT CLINIC · Work through a problem
Yellow leaves? Unexpected leaf drop? Something moving under a leaf? Share photographs and growing conditions so others can help you investigate.

THE LABORATORY · Test an idea
Document experiments, compare methods and follow progress over time. Propagation, rootstocks, flowering, recovery and cultivation technology all have a place here.

CULTIVARS & CLIMATE · Compare real experience
Discover how different varieties perform in different conditions. Share your region, growing setup and observations so comparisons become more useful.

SHOWCASE & HARVEST · Share the moments
First flowers, new growth, a recovered tree or fruit you have waited months to taste—we would love to see them.

Start with a hello

Introduce yourself in the community’s introduction area. Tell us a little about your growing world:

  • What are you growing—or hoping to grow?

  • What is your climate or approximate region?

  • Do you grow indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse?

  • What would you like to learn or try next?

A photograph of your plants is always welcome. Your exact location and real name are not needed.

Looking for help?

Give your topic a clear title and share what you know about the plant: its variety, light, watering, growing medium and any recent changes.

Photographs of the whole plant and close-ups of the problem can make a real difference.

Do not worry if you do not have all the answers. Working out which questions to ask is part of learning.

And if you find a solution, come back with an update. Your experience could help the next grower facing the same problem.

A community worth growing

Be kind. Stay curious. Explain your experience and make room for someone else’s.

Different methods can work in different conditions. Ask for evidence, challenge ideas respectfully and be honest when you are unsure.

Imperfect English, mixed languages and beginner questions are welcome. What matters is helping one another understand.

Before posting, please take a moment to read our Community Guidelines, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Your next growing season starts with a conversation.

Introduce yourself, show us your trees, or ask your first question.
